Well, the FarEastFilmFestival in Udine is over since Saturday, and it was great! And really exhausting too. I came back from Udine, Italy, yesterday afternoon after a long journey by train, during which I was dozing almost the whole time.
The general amount of sleep was about three hours per night, for the whole week my friends and myself spent in Udine, and you can guess how tired we were everyday. But there were sooo many movies we had to attend to. (Well, we saw almost ALL movies that were shown at the festival...*ahem*) We saw movies from China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hongkong and even from Malaysia, Phillipines, Thailand and Vietnam. Also we met a few directors, producers and actors from those countries, just as Johnnie To, Johnny Nguyen, Jung Kil-young, Miki Satoshi and the sweet Koizumi Norihiro.
His movie "Gachi Boy - Wrestling with a memory" won the audience prize, while Johnnie To's "Mad Detective" got the Black Dragon prize.
We spent every day almost 17 hours in the cinema, what also means that we had barely time to eat, so maybe I lost some weight?
